And if you're wondering what's in it for Downtown
Cleveland Alliance, well...
The program helps advance our mission to make Downtown Cleveland
the most compelling place to live, work and play in the region:
- City Advocates work on projects that improve Downtown
- City Advocates spread good news about Downtown throughout their
networks
- City Advocates invest in Downtown's future with their
actions
- City Advocates often also volunteer time to help with DCA and
DCA family events, as well as other volunteer needs as they
arise
- City Advocates continue to play leadership roles and support
Downtown's future independently of the program.
The program is also helping the Alliance diversify our
leadership:
- City Advocates present a pool of potential future leaders for
our own Board of Directors as well as the boards of our partner
organizations. One past City Advocate has already been
elected to a full term director position on the DCA board!
